"The Impossible Project inspires Polaroid to re-launch Instant Cameras"
We are pleased to herewith announce a history making cooperation between Polaroid and The Impossible Project:
As we have created quite some buzz about Analog Instant Photography over the past 12 months, the Polaroid licensee - The Summit Global Group - now can't resist any longer and announced at a press conference on October 13th in Hong Kong that they will re-launch some of the most famous Polaroid Instant Cameras.
Therefore they are commissioning The Impossible Project to develop and produce a limited edition of Polaroid branded Instant Films in the middle of 2010.
The Impossible Project is proud and excited that its ambitions and all the relentless work that has already been invested are now becoming the foundation for Polaroid's comeback as a producer of Instant Cameras.
Large-scale production and worldwide sale of The Impossible Project's new integral film materials under its own brand will already start in the beginning of 2010 - with a brand new and astonishing black and white Instant Film and the first colour films to follow in the course of the year.Mon, Oct. 5th, 2009, 11:06 pm

to all my lovely ladies whom responded to my snail mail calling: i've been quite excitedly working on what i'll shortly be sending out to new homes it is quite enjoyable to sit down and make projects by the dozens, giving each one a personal touch and spirit of its own, depending on where it's going
each package will include a few items which are handmade, similar, yet at the same time a world apart in difference since they are made by hand i have also been working on other things to send off with these mini crafts which are tailored to personal likes and memories - words which were sent and things i have found of interest while looking through blogs and flickr accounts :)
i look forward to the day i get to visit the post office with my bundles of treasures for all of you!
what also intrigues me is how worldwide of a response i received! all around the USA, Canada, Puerto Rico, Spain, Norway, oh my! at least my thoughts and energy will travel prior to my passport being updated! Wed, Sep. 2nd, 2009, 04:50 pm

A little while back there was a calling for a little something called The Quilt Project which the lovely Kootoyoo has organized. There's also a blog here
Here's a sneak peak at my work in progress, which is actually almost done and ready to be sent to Australia! I'm working off of the ferns I drew and made into stamps not too long ago. I'll post a completed work within the next few days. In the mean time, there's also a flickr group with works in progress being posted, such great things are coming of this!
