"The Impossible Project inspires Polaroid to re-launch Instant Cameras"
We are pleased to herewith announce a history making cooperation between Polaroid and The Impossible Project:
As we have created quite some buzz about Analog Instant Photography over the past 12 months, the Polaroid licensee - The Summit Global Group - now can't resist any longer and announced at a press conference on October 13th in Hong Kong that they will re-launch some of the most famous Polaroid Instant Cameras.
Therefore they are commissioning The Impossible Project to develop and produce a limited edition of Polaroid branded Instant Films in the middle of 2010.
The Impossible Project is proud and excited that its ambitions and all the relentless work that has already been invested are now becoming the foundation for Polaroid's comeback as a producer of Instant Cameras.
Large-scale production and worldwide sale of The Impossible Project's new integral film materials under its own brand will already start in the beginning of 2010 - with a brand new and astonishing black and white Instant Film and the first colour films to follow in the course of the year.Mon, Oct. 5th, 2009, 11:06 pm

to all my lovely ladies whom responded to my snail mail calling: i've been quite excitedly working on what i'll shortly be sending out to new homes it is quite enjoyable to sit down and make projects by the dozens, giving each one a personal touch and spirit of its own, depending on where it's going
each package will include a few items which are handmade, similar, yet at the same time a world apart in difference since they are made by hand i have also been working on other things to send off with these mini crafts which are tailored to personal likes and memories - words which were sent and things i have found of interest while looking through blogs and flickr accounts :)
i look forward to the day i get to visit the post office with my bundles of treasures for all of you!
what also intrigues me is how worldwide of a response i received! all around the USA, Canada, Puerto Rico, Spain, Norway, oh my! at least my thoughts and energy will travel prior to my passport being updated! Wed, Sep. 2nd, 2009, 04:50 pm

Here's a sneak peak at my work in progress, which is actually almost done and ready to be sent to Australia! I'm working off of the ferns I drew and made into stamps not too long ago. I'll post a completed work within the next few days. In the mean time, there's also a flickr group with works in progress being posted, such great things are coming of this!

Added three new items to Etsy

 Thu, Aug. 20th, 2009, 09:40 am
my computer is currently down, no new pictures at the moment as i'm working off another one for the time being. though, i've been posting previously posted polaroids over on my other blog. my pro account for flickr expired a handful of months ago and my pictures have been 'going into hiding' with each upload. i'd update to a pro account again, though i've taken a pledge to only spending money in cash form until the end of the year. ! i'll be hunting down the photos that are now hidden from public (as well as my own!) view and posting them via blogger.
today i'll be dragging out the sewing machine!Thu, Aug. 13th, 2009, 02:46 pm
Greetings all, i have posted two new items into my Etsy Shop, you can see them below. i've been enjoying playing with fabric and just can't seem to make up my mind on what i like best! it's all so fun to do!
i have recently acquired a beautiful brown wooden square table with folding legs. i adorned it with the prayer flags ive had for nearly 5 or 6 years now.. i've been holding onto them for something special as i got them as a gift when i went to see His Holliness The Dalai Lama. This table is being used for my crafty creations and is the perfect height for my existing brown wooden chair!
another note on good finds: i have also acquired veryvery recently, as in last night recently, a single drawer wooden beauty. it has a little V shaped holder on the bottom and is the most amazing robins egg blue ive seen!

ive posted another blog with pictures. im in a bit of a hurry to get more hand sewing done and white nectarines eaten so i wont be spending time uploading to flickr and posting here. if interested, please click on over.
leave pretty words and links to beautiful sites, if youve got any that you enjoy :) Mon, Aug. 3rd, 2009, 05:52 pm
i've added two more items to my Etsy site. im currently working on small and less detailed pieces (yet still appealing) so i can bring the price down a bit. id really like to have something to offer for everyone, especially for gifting ideas. if you've never embroidered, let me just tell you that it takes time. A LOT of time. and patience. and this doesnt include lugging out the iron, the scissors and ruler, searching for 'the perfect fabric', finally picking out just the right shade of this or that color for each piece, drawing out images to use (and re drawing them until the lines are placed 'just so') and on the list goes. i love these things though.. the ones that take the time to make something to hold afterwards. the portable crafts. the ones that work with patience.
id love to post pictures though my flickr is acting up.. i cant get in! i was trying to post over at my other blog, it enables me to post directing from the site without flickr or photobucket, though it's acting up right now too! guh! its telling me something.. i should be in the garden like ive been wanting to be ALL DAY while at work.
(big photo post when i can of the progress ive made while playing in the dirt recently.. its rather exciting! i love living in zone 9)
actually, if youd like to see two photos, post up at http://bird-murmur.blogspot.com Sun, Aug. 2nd, 2009, 12:42 am
OH! i forgot to mention a word about this.. but i entered two pieces of work into an art show prior to taking time away from work.. and they both got in as finalists! tomorrow i turn them in ready to be hung along with a stitched artists bio. the reception is on the 5th - how exciting! second non school assignment show ive entered work into. if youre in the south florida area and dont have prior obligations on the 5th from 6-8pm let me know and ill send details your way. id post pictures but i cant get into flickr for two nights now. though ill tell you this much, theyre centered around sea turtles. two embroideries and one polaroid included in a lot of nature made items ive found on my journies on the seaside.. including real eggs (of hatched animals) and feathers, my (favorites!)Fri, Jul. 31st, 2009, 11:48 pm
Last Day Of July this was my personally set goal for July, to open the virtual doors on my Etsy Shop, and I did it!
Please come on by and take a gander and what i have to offer at this point. i will be adding new pieces regularly, in a variety of price ranges.
i offer FREE SHIPPING within the United States (i know that i myself dont enjoy paying for something i cant grasp.. like shipping/handling)
i plan to change the mediums I work in as the mood strikes me. Embroidery now, hand sewn clothing maybe in the future?
It all depends on how well (or unwell) things go for me. Not to mention, how much time i have on my hands while holding onto my fulltime 'adult job'
many thanks from here to there
